Skills & Certifications required to Become a Data Scientist

Skills required to Become a Data Scientist

Technical Skills: Software
SQL Database/Coding – Even though NoSQL and Hadoop have become a large component of data science, it is still expected that a candidate will be able to write and execute complex queries in SQL.

Hadoop Platform – Although this isn’t always a requirement, it is heavily preferred in many cases. Having experience with Hive or Pig is also a strong selling point. Familiarity with cloud tools such as Amazon S3 can also be beneficial.
Python Coding – Python is the most common coding language I typically see required in data science roles, along with Java, Perl, or C/C++.
Unstructured data – It is critical that a data scientist be able to work with unstructured data, whether it is from social media, video feeds or audio.
SAS and/or R – In-depth knowledge of at least one of these analytical tools, for data science R is generally preferred.

Academics
Education – A very strong educational background is usually required to develop the depth of knowledge necessary to be a data scientist. Their most common fields of study are Mathematics and Statistics followed by Computer Science and Engineering

Communication skills:
A data scientist must enable the business to make decisions with quantified insights, in addition to understanding the needs of their non-technical colleagues in order to wrangle the data appropriately.

Natural Medicine for Diabetes - Periwinkle Syrup

Control Diabetes Naturally - Periwinkle Syrup

Periwinkle has many names, in Tamil it is called Nithya Kalyani,  scientific name is Catharanthus Roseus.  Other English names incidentally utilized like Vinca, Cape Periwinkle, Rose Periwinkle, Ruddy Periwinkle etc.

Periwinkle is best known as a natural remedy to help those with diabetes. Periwinkle is said to control swings in blood sugar. It has a long history of use behind it for that purpose as an herbal remedy.

Periwinkle tea is one of the widely used natural remedies for diabetes treatment. The flowering herb, has been used since ancient times as a herbal medicine to treat several internal and external diseases. The first use of periwinkle for diabetes treatment dates back to the 1920s i.e. even before insulin was discovered.

Many studies found that periwinkle lowered blood sugar levels by promoting the secretion of insulin, a hormone responsible for controlling blood-sugar levels. The findings need to be confirmed as there is a fair chance that periwinkle works by improving glucose utilisation by the tissues.

To make periwinkle syrup, boil periwinkle flower and 3 to 4 leaves in hot water. Let the solution steep for 3 to 4 minutes.  Thereafter, drink it once it becomes warm.

You must drink periwinkle syrup in the morning before you eat breakfast as doing otherwise may upset stomach. You need to continue this for a month to see good results

Precautions for using Periwinkle as a medicine for Diabetes:

You may consult your doctor or a qualified medical professional for inclusion of periwinkle tea or periwinkle as a dietary supplement.

Wait at least a month to see if there has been a reduction in blood glucose levels or the blood glucose levels have come within normal range.
